A1. The Present Continuous

This short Powerpoint presentation introduces students to the present continuous (progressive) tense. Using visual prompts and dynamic graphics, students are encouraged to practice using progressive tenses with a variety of action verbs. There are a variety of tasks where students form their own questions and use the progressive tense to talk about themselves. It is the ideal introduction to the present continuous for beginners and a perfect supplement to lessons using written exercises.
