This lesson is based on short animated presentation the examines strategies for better discussion and debate. In the video, the narrator explains some of the reasons for seemingly irrational conflicts between people. In asking the question, ‘Why facts don’t convince people’, the video takes a look at the factors that create barriers to polite, constructive argument and communication.
